Town of Alpena Government

The Town of Alpena council and staff are dedicated to serving the community through responsible leadership, thoughtful decision-making, and transparent local government. Council members work together to establish policies, approve budgets, oversee city operations, and make decisions that support the safety, growth, and quality of life of everyone who calls Alpena home.

Council meetings are held at City Hall on the 1st Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. Residents are encouraged to stay informed, attend council meetings, and participate in shaping the future of our community.
